WARNING: INCEST AND MATRICIDE
Character Name: Ahmad
Series: Netflix's Marco Polo
Age: 25-35 apx
From When?: His death at the end of Season 2
Inmate/Warden: Inmate. While Ahmad believes his actions are justified, he is responsible and remorseless over thousands of deaths. Including innocent men he used to take the fall for his own misdeeds. He is utterly ruthless when it comes to obtaining his goals. The only death he feels something for at all is his mother's, but he refuses to blame himself and instead shifts the blame to Kublai Khan.
Item: N/A
Arrival: Willing. Ahmad thinks he can twist this to his advantage and somehow fake his way to graduation. Regardless, he does want another chance at life.
Abilities/Powers:
Ahmad just your average human but he has a few outstanding abilities. He has a swift mind and a talent for numbers and accounting. Along the same lines he has a talent for misdirection and lies. He's spent a good portion of his adult life pretending to be something other than he is. He can artfully hide his true emotions and opinions from all but the most observant minds.
He's never shown outright fighting in the series but he was trained by One Hundred Eyes(the blind warrior monk) as all of the Khan's inner circle were. All trained in sword, knife and hand-to-hand fighting. However, Ahmad's more interested in others doing the fighting for him, rather than doing so himself. That being said, I'd say his level of fighting skill in the competent range but hardly a Kung Fu Fighting Master. His Kung Fu is numbers.
Personality: [Please write at least 5 solid paragraphs. The more depth and detail, the better! Keep in mind that other players will use this section to determine if your character is a good match for potential Warden/Inmate pairings, and this may be their first exposure to your character.
Barge Reactions: Ahmad is very skilled at hiding how he truly feels and will take a calm approach to anything new or strange. There will be things that go against his sensibilities but he will pretend otherwise if it is considered 'normal' by other residents.
That said, the more outlandish residents will get his attention. Any one with super powers will come as a shock and likely make him gravitate toward them. He'll want to understand how their powers work and, of course, attempt to manipulate them if he can.
Most importantly, he'll take time to understand the social norms of the Barge before acting outside them.
As for the Barge itself, Ahmad will be coming in as a willing inmate. So, he'll have a basic understanding of it being between worlds and realities.
Path to Redemption: [(INMATES ONLY) Please outline possible ways a Warden can get through to them, possible triggers, methods, motives for them to change. This section can serve to give Warden players some idea of which route to take in working with your Inmate. While we don't expect every Inmate to become redeemed, they have to AT LEAST have potential for it. Irredeemable Inmates are not acceptable.]
Ahmad is absolutely redeemable but the first step is getting him to understand he needs to. He doesn't see himself as the problem and sees all his actions as justified. He will always point to Kublai Khan as the source of all his pain.
